The driver of each lifting machinery must undergo training, pass assessment, and hold an operation certificate before being allowed to operate.
When the driver takes over the shift, they should check the brakes, hooks, wire ropes, and safety devices. Discovering abnormal performance should be resolved before operation.
Ring the bell or alarm before driving. When approaching a person during operation, a continuous bell or alarm should also be given.
Operations should be carried out according to command signals. Upon hearing an emergency stop signal, regardless of who issued it, immediate action should be taken.
Only when there is no one on or around the crane can the main power be turned off. If a lock or label is added to the power circuit breaker, it should be removed by relevant personnel before the power can be closed.
Before turning off the main power supply, all controller handles should be placed in the zero position.
When there is a sudden power outage during work, all controller handles should be turned back to the zero position; Before resuming work, it is necessary to check whether the crane's movements are normal.
At the end of the operation of the crane operating outdoors on the track, the crane should be anchored. When the wind force is greater than level 6, the operation should generally be stopped and the crane should be anchored. For gantry cranes working along the coast, if the wind force is greater than level 7, they should stop working and anchor the crane.
When the driver is repairing and maintaining the crane, the main power should be cut off and a sign or lock should be hung; When conducting live repairs, insulated gloves and shoes should be worn, tools with insulated handles should be used, and supervised by someone.
Drivers should not operate under any of the following circumstances:
(1) Do not lift when overloaded or the weight of an object is unclear;
(2) Do not hoist when the signal is unclear;
(3) Loose or unbalanced binding or hanging may cause slipping and failure to lift;
(4) Do not lift objects that are willing to be lifted or floating objects;
(5) When there are defects or damages in the structure or components that affect safe operation, such as brake or safety device failure, hook and nut structural device damage, or steel wire rope damage reaching the scrap standard, do not lift;
(6) Do not lift when encountering buried objects with unclear tension;
(7) Do not lift heavy objects when inclined;
(8) Do not hoist when the workplace is dim, unable to see the site clearly, the condition of the suspended object, and command signals;
(9) Do not lift when the edges and corners of heavy objects are between the bound steel wire ropes without padding;
(10) Do not lift when the packaging of molten steel (iron) is too full.
During the operation of the crane, limit switches shall not be used to stop the vehicle; For cranes without reverse braking performance, except in special emergency situations, reverse braking shall not be applied.
Do not adjust the brake of the lifting and variable amplitude mechanism under load conditions.
During the operation of the crane, inspection and maintenance are not allowed.
Heavy objects must not be lifted from the top of a person's head, and it is strictly prohibited to stand under the lifting arm.
When lifting goods inside the factory, a passage should be used.
When operating on a line without obstacles, the bottom of the lifting object (lifting tool) should be at least 2 meters above the ground; When there are obstacles that need to be crossed, the bottom surface of the lifting object (lifting tool) should be higher than the top surface of the obstacle by more than 0.5 meters.
When the lifted object approaches or reaches the rated lifting capacity, the brake should be checked before lifting, and a small height (200-300 millimeters) and short stroke test crane should be used before lifting steadily.
When lifting liquid metals, harmful liquids, flammable and explosive materials, small height and short stroke trial lifting should be carried out first.
A crane without a descent position limiter, when the crane is in the working position, the steel wire rope on the drum is secured
